The film stars Hollywood actor Danny Trejo and six local heroes (Tonja Myles, Billy Rivers, Stanley Roberts, David Bottner, Jerry and Whitney Strickland) who share their personal stories of hope, from desperation to inspiration, intended to bring faith, hope, and perseverance to those of us in need. The film is based on the book Rock Bottom and Back-Desperation to Inspiration which features 22 heroes from all walks of life, celebrities to ordinary folks, who have hit rock bottom and came back from complete despair and are now giving back in amazing ways. If they could do it, you can do it. Never Give Up!

The film screening and book signing event is sponsored by BIC Media Solutions, Baton Rouge Christian Life Magazine and Parkview Baptist Church. Proceeds from the sale of the book and DVD will be donated to Baton Rouge flood victim relief organizations.
